Why Our Torso?
The torso is the place in our bodies where we can have the most potential for restrictions on our overall functional movement. This somewhat triangular shape includes our spine from our neck to the tailbone, our shoulders, shoulder girdle, sacrum, pelvis, and even down to the pelvic floor! The influence of the torso on our creating ease in daily movements like walking, running, reaching, turning, sitting, and standing are significant. They are also intricately connected to the movements of our arms hands, legs and feet. Most of us have limited awareness of these intricacies and the impact on our vitality and ease of movement. By become more aware of our torso, and the relationships within it and the connections to the whole of ourselves, we can greatly influence our posture, balance, stability, and flexibility.
Please join me in discovery the community relationship inherent in your terrific torso!!
